Legal Sea Foods is now open along the vibrant Riverwalk in the bustling River North neighborhood at the famous Marina Towers! Legal’s first Midwest location features two floors of upscale casual New England vibes with sweeping riverfront views and outdoor space.

The menu serves up New England specialties like our Clam Chowder and Half Pound Lobster Rolls, as well as new signature dishes and local favorites. Legal’s Raw Bar serves items such as handcrafted sushi, East Coast Oysters, and more.

Legal’s brand new restaurant features a large main dining room, bar area, private event space, and outdoor terraces along the bustling Chicago Riverwalk. We hope to sea you soon for dine-in, catering, and take-out!

Famous for raising the bar in seafood quality and safety, Legal Sea Foods combines New England's coastal fishing traditions with modern culinary flair. Our sign off , "If it isn't fresh, it isn't Legal!", reflects our ongoing dedication to great quality, fresh seafood. We are open. Come in and try for yourself!

Our rooftop deck and bar have been transformed to boast a jaw-dropping 180-degree view of Boston Harbor. From sunrise to sunset, this is your destination to enjoy seafood, cocktails, and gorgeous views. With a menu of sushi offerings, raw bar, Legal signature dishes, and specialty cocktails, your dining experience has been curated to complement The Overlook’s picturesque surroundings.   •  Craving fresh shucked oysters and creative sushi? Head upstairs to our Oyster & Sushi Bar at 317 N. Dearborn St. for a vibrant atmosphere and innovative small plates menu and full bar. Accessible from State Street or Dearborn Street Bridges along the Marina City Riverfront Plaza.
  • Yearning for classic Legal Sea Foods with a view? The main entrance is downstairs at 315 N. Dearborn St. This expansive space boasts stunning Chicago River views and our full menu, perfect for any occasion.
  • Both Legal Sea Foods spaces are accessible to each other inside by elevator and our grand staircase!

Parking Info

While Legal Sea Foods doesn’t offer on-site parking, you have several options nearby. Valet parking in front of S&W provides the most convenience. Alternatively, public parking garages are available within walking distance. SpotHero, a parking booking app, allows you to reserve a spot beforehand. Lastly, street parking is an option, but be prepared for limited availability, especially during peak hours.

Take a look at the new Legal Sea Foods in Chicago. The bi-level restaurant brings upscale casual New England vibes to Chicago and accentuates the location’s sweeping riverfront views and outdoor space. The updated space honors the architectural significance of Marina City, locally referred to as the “corncob buildings.” The interior was designed around the signature curves of the building and is outfitted with fixtures and colors to create a modern, bright eastern seaboard feel.
